After 90 days you will be eligible for benefits: · Health/Dental/Vision Insurance · Flexible Spending Account · Life Insurance · 401(k) · 401(k) Matching · Paid Time Off GENERAL SUMMARY Help create and maintain an employee engaged lean culture by scheduling daily stock production and inventory control in an effort to reduce overtime and increase on time delivery. Maintain job folders, create and maintain Kanban boards as necessary. Create and post daily production schedules and other routine administrative duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Schedule Shop Production daily (Kanban); run fluctuation reports; Production Scheduler Back up Inventory Clerk; Production Job Scheduler Create, Cost and Close Internal folders; Inventory counts (Cycle Counting) Run reports, analyze and Investigate variances WORKING CONDITIONS Office setting with low to moderate noise due to computers, printers, and people moving about. 8-hour work days – 5 days per week (Monday – Friday) (6am to 3pm) 1st shift Mandatory overtime depending on operation schedule. Work alone or with other co-workers. Obtain daily productivity goals PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Constant computer work. 2-3 hrs. on the shop floor daily MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT Computers (Microsoft & Email) Printer Calculator Copy Machine Telephone Requirements SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Previous Scheduling or Inventory experience is a plus Previous Production experience is also a plus Attention to detail mandatory Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PDF, Gmail (These are just a plus but not necessary: Crystal Reports & Made2Manage) Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. Ability to work under pressure. Time Management skills. Strong math skills. High School Diploma or GED
