CLARK Material Handling Company, is a 100 year old company, and a global leader in the material handling and forklift industry. CLARK is seeking qualified candidates to join our team.
This position will be responsible for inventory control, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring the process and discipline is followed with part transfers, and to perform root cause analysis on variances. This position will manage a small team of cycle counters and responsible for the coordination with other team members for best utilization of facilities, manufacturing and related work teams, information systems and inventory planning.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent in Business Management or related field with at least five years experience in an MRP/JIT environment with expertise in inventory control and production planning

OR

  • Eight to ten years’ experience in MRP/JIT environment with expertise in inventory control and production planning
Responsibilities
  • Develop and train team in inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
  • Create and monitor inventory systems to reduce shrink and maintain bill of material accuracy
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures pertaining to continuous improvement of supply chain
  • Responsible for ongoing cycle counting process and continuous improvement for a more efficient system.
  • Coordinate and execute annual Physical Inventory
  • Assist with new product structure and implementation consistent with marketing objectives, engineering design, manufacturing process and production bills of material.
  • Review BOM’s and item data in BAAN for errors and consistency for root cause analysis.
  • Supervise cycle counters. Reconcile counts performed by manufacturing team.
  • Work closely with material planning, production planning, purchasing, and manufacturing to ensure production flow.
