Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the company’s inventory management/POS system.
• Monitor stock levels, stock availability, and product movements.
• Receive and verify incoming stock against purchase orders, delivery notes, and system records.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
• Monitor damaged, defective, missing, or slow-moving stock and report accordingly.
• Ensure correct product labeling, barcoding, and storage procedures.
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, purchasing, logistics, and store teams regarding stock requirements.
• Process stock transfers, adjustments, returns, and other inventory transactions accurately.
• Monitor stock aging and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Support stocktaking activities and prepare inventory reports.
• Ensure inventory is stored safely and in an organized manner.
• Maintain proper documentation for all inventory movements.
• Assist in investigating stock losses, variances, and potential shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory-control policies and procedures.
• Provide accurate and timely inventory reports to management.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and stock accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-service oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Confident, persuasive, and comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and retail shifts as required.
