Requirements OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: Develop and actively manage a comprehensive inventory management plan that meets the business objectives of sales, manufacturing, and finance. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop and enforce inventory policies and procedures to guarantee system integrity Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements Analyze trends, identify root causes, recommend actions Prepare inventory reports for management to include turns, outages, and slow moving Train related team members on inventory best practices and system usage Actively engage in company forecasting, planning, and purchasing to align inventory goals. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience): 1) Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred. 2) Fluent in Microsoft Office DEMONSTRATED CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: 1) Managing Performance – The ability to take responsibility for performance, set clear goals and expectations, track progress against the goals, ensure feedback, address performance problems promptly. 2) Accountability - Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight. 3) Empowering others – The ability to convey confidence in employees’ ability to be successful, especially at challenging new tasks; delegating responsibility, freedom to decide how to accomplish goals. 4) Communication – Ability to ensure information is passed on to others who should be kept informed ability to express oneself clearly in conversation and interaction with others, ability to express oneself clearly in business writing 5) Forward Thinking-The ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepare for possible contingencies. 6) Building collaborative relationships – the ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside and outside the organization who can provide information, assistance, and support. 7) Thoroughness – Ensuring work and information is complete and accurate; carefully preparing for meetings and presentations; following up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) Bending/Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Full motion of the body, lower extremities and back muscles 2) Carrying – Extending hands and arms while carrying weight 3) Light Work- occasional exertion of 20 pounds or less. Moderate walking, standing and sitting. 4) Repetitive Motion – Substantial movement/motion of the wrists hands and or fingers. 5) Sitting – The body is supported by the buttocks and back and employee needs to remain seated for extended periods of time. 6) Vision (option 1) – close visual acuity to perform and activity such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, inspection involving small defects or welds, use and operation of machines, use of measurement devices, etc. 7) Vision (option2) – Visual acuity is required to view a computer terminal or operate mechanical or skilled trades 8) Walking- Moving about on foot to travel and accomplish tasks, including long distances or site to site.
