ABOUT THE ROLE:

Do you enjoy making sure things are organized and accurate? We’re looking for someone to join our team as an Inventory Controller. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping track of all the products we have for some of our important customers. This means regularly counting items, checking if our records are correct, and helping to organize full stock counts when needed. Your work will help us run smoothly and keep our customers happy.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Safety First: Always work safely and look out for the safety of your colleagues. Follow all our safety rules and procedures.
  • Keeping Track of Stock: Regularly count products in specific areas to make sure our records are accurate. Investigate and help fix any differences we find.
  • Organizing Products: Ensure all products are in the right place and that any movement of stock is properly recorded. Check new deliveries and do regular checks to confirm everything is correct.
  • Checking Product Details: Regularly look at a sample of products to ensure our records match what we actually have. Make sure important details like batch codes are correct.
  • Managing Stock Levels: Help make sure we have the right amount of stock available by following proper rotation and keeping everything in its designated spot.
  • Working with the Team: Collaborate closely with other team members, like those managing product changes and the frontline managers, to track stock and make necessary adjustments.
  • Efficient Operations: Ensure that the process of picking products for orders follows our instructions and highlight any issues to your manager. Help organize storage areas to save space and improve efficiency.
  • Communicating with Others: Build good working relationships with our customer account managers and frontline managers. Communicate clearly and effectively with them and other departments about any stock-related issues.
  • Meeting Customer Expectations: Help us meet the agreed-upon service standards and targets related to inventory. Lead and carry out full stock counts based on what our customers need.
  • Handling Product Issues: Help monitor and reduce the number of incorrect or damaged products that are received or sent out. Regularly review reports on our stock and investigate any differences.
  • Keeping Records Up-to-Date: Make sure all paperwork related to stock is completed accurately and meets our standards.
  • Using Our Systems: Use our computer system to monitor and track the movement of stock effectively.
  • Meeting Targets: Ensure we consistently meet our targets for keeping stock accurate and report on our progress.
  • Maintaining Equipment and Workspace: Make sure all equipment is in good working order and help keep our warehouse areas tidy and free from obstacles.
  • Other Tasks: Assist with any other reasonable tasks asked of you by management.
