We are actively looking for a Production Coordinator to lead our day shift for our Scarborough shop.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the shop and ensuring productivity and goals are achieved. You will lead the team by engaging the employees through excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or industrial industry.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $50,637.00-$63,296.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Track incoming merchandise from suppliers and verify proper delivery and storage.
  • Enter data into the system, adjust inventory quantities, and print inventory tags accordingly.
  • Ensure employees place stock in proper storage locations in accordance with 5S lean manufacturing principles.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Perform full counts of all inventory items.
  • Reconcile rebar and coils, ensuring all bundles are properly closed.
  • Identify inventory shortages and recommend purchases to the Procurement team.
  • Create sales orders and bills of lading (BOLs), and prepare shipping packages and documents for next-day deliveries.
  • Maintain the remnant inventory.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
