Description This position is responsible for managing inventory materials at the primary SHINE (Systems and Manufacturing) production facility as well as at various remote warehouse locations. The Inventory Coordinator serves as a subject matter expert in both inventory and warehouse management processes and metrics, with a strong focus on receiving and logistics. The base salary range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 per hour plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and monitor and control inventory. Manage and maintain inventory parts, location, and identification of parts. The inventory coordinator will work with the warehouse operation so that he/she is able to provide system support and related stock taking activities. He/she may assist in ensuring that the warehouse staff works efficiently. He/she researches, tracks, records and maintains the NetSuite database. He/she makes it a point to count the inventory physically. He/she reviews transactions to verify accuracy. He/she will drive standardization of warehousing and transportation processes across SHINE. Ensure warehouse compliance with regulatory requirements and develop recommendations for action plans to provide expected results. He/she will work with cross functional teams, drive process changes using lean and continuous improvement tools to improve safety, quality and productivity. Stimulate the sharing of knowledge. Identify and implement projects that meet corporate objectives and cost savings He/she will collaborate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external business partners He/she will assist with managing daily warehouse operations. Provide guidance to the day-to-day activity of department personnel, including employee schedules, work-loads and productivity to ensure that all receiving, and shipping is completed in a timely manner and inventory is maintained accurately. Participate in the interviewing and selection of staff. He/she will help develop and deliver related training. He/she will participate in projects and other duties as requested. Essential Skills and Abilities: The inventory coordinator should follow a logical structured approach while working and should be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills. He/she should be should be able to make timely decisions, identify quality, have a good mix of wisdom, analytical skills, judgment along with strong interpersonal skills, etc., He/she should be able to prioritize work and should be good at juggling different tasks at the same time. He/she must be extremely well organized with good management skills and a keen eye for detail. He/she should be skilled at maintaining various documents and records. He/she should be able to work effectively without any supervision. Requirements High school diploma or GED required including a minimum of 5+ years relevant industrial warehouse, inventory, transportation logistics or procurement experience Proficiency with NetSuite enterprise resource planning system, including a strong inventory skill set, i.e. cycle count, research and adjustment experience Willing and able to operate warehouse industrial material handling equipment as required. Must have the ability to be trained and certified to operate industrial fork-trucks and other material handling equipment. Forklift certification preferred. The ability to work effectively in an autonomous manner with strong process orientation. Must be result oriented with proven execution skills. Confident to concurrently manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Solid computer skills utilizing MS Office Suites and, Outlook and NetSuite materials management. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and organizational skills. Must be able to effectively interrelate with internal and external customers. Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and businesses. Must be familiar with and able to follow Company safety policies and procedures. Keen attention to detail, integrity, excellent judgment, resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills. Limited travel. On demand working hours related to product launches, physical inventories or any other special projects. Quality or ISO background a plus. Must be willing and able to cross train in order to provide support at the Janesville, WI warehouse as needed.
