JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in providing materials to the shop floor, maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring a streamlined inventory management process.
The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining an efficient and well-organized inventory system.
Hours: M-F 7am – 3:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to read and understand blueprints
· Experience with basic computer filing systems
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
· Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite
· Must be a United States Citizen or permanent resident
· Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds, repeatedly
· Walking/standing a minimum of 8 hours per day
· Able to sit, stand, bend, squat and walk about the facility
Desired Skills:
· Experience with ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions experience preferred)
· Experience with inventory systems and procedures
· Forklift experience
· Proven experience in inventory coordination or a similar role

Responsibilities

· Work from Work Orders, blueprints, and BOM’s to prepare customer orders for manufacturing
· Receiving inspection of material from vendors
· Allocate and prepare material for jobs
· Issue materials to Work Orders in ERP system
· Kit completed components for full assemblies
· Maintain material and fixture inventory through Bin location
· Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Support company EHS & Lean initiatives
· Operate saws, sanding machines, fork trucks, and forklifts safety and efficiently
· All other reasonable duties, as required
