Description Job Summary: The primary focus of this position is inventory cycle counting and to track and monitor materials inventory. Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies. Assists with shipping, receiving & warehouse duties as directed by supervisor. Job Responsibilities: Inventory Perform daily cycle counts. Monitor and control inventory integrity. Research and resolve product identification, location, and lot code discrepancies. Work with Supply Chain Manager to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner. Work with Supply Chain Manager to establish and maintain Cycle Count Program for the organization. Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products. Warehousing Assist with picking and staging materials for production as needed. Assist with physically storing raw materials and finished products as needed. Perform accurate and timely system transactions of material in the production software. General Assist with other duties as required. All staff must report any known food safety issues to supervisor. All staff has the authority to place on hold any products and/or equipment that do not meet Texas Star Nut and Food Co., Inc. food safety standards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Requirements: · Must be punctual and dependable. · Must be able to work independently and with a team. · Able to perform basic mathematics operations and acquire proficiency in our production software applications. · Must possess basic MS Office skills, including knowledge of Excel. · Must possess basic knowledge of warehouse organization and material flows. · Must be able to comply with all safety and cleanliness requirements. Abilities Required: · Ability to frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. · Ability to climb ladders/steps and work on platforms. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. · Ability to work on machinery, handle small tools and assembling/disassembling machinery. · Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack. · Able to work as a self-starter under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for performing daily cycle counts and maintaining inventory integrity within the warehouse. They also assist with shipping, receiving, and staging materials while resolving any count or product discrepancies.
