The role involves being responsible for the inbound logistic process of the warehouse ( Receipt + Storage+ Production supply). This is a 24-hour operation that operates 6 days a week and if needed must work in shifts per the business requirements. Job Scope: To ensure smooth operation of goods receipt , goods storage supply of goods to the production line. Keep Accounting of inventory available in the warehouse. Manage a team of @ 40 to 50 people in different shifts . Effective coordination with different stakeholders like SCM , Production , quality etc keeping safety , productivity and quality as first priority. KNOWLEDGE. A good eye for quality will be expected. Team player Good understanding of warehouse related processes. Cost focus Crisis management Knowledge on Excel , Advance excel , ERP system ( SAP / Oracle) Good foresight in planning Inventory process knowledge like good receipt , production supply, perpetual counts, yearly stock takes Job work process knowledge. Knowledge of Audits requirements like ISO, EHS, SOX, KPMG . Should be aware how all the support services work for the chosen skill. Good problem solving skills KEY SUCCESS CRITERIA/CHALLENGES To look after large warehouse daily operations with team strength of 40 to 50 people operating in different shifts. Should aware on job work activity and make sure to full fill compliance norms Handling all Material handling equipment in optimum way. Maintaining precise accounting of every material movement to upkeep inventory accuracy. Coordination with different functions in an effective way. Understanding the process of flow of materials. Optimum use of all resources in terms of space , people and MHE . Participate in self-improvement / problem solving activities in order to help the team.
