The Role: Inventory and Flows Supervisor Responsible for the management of the team of Inventory and Flow Analysts and Supply Order Replenishment & Flow Analysts. Performs and supports your team on daily operations linked to downstream and upstream flow management and assists the Purchasing Manager in improving the team’s productivity and efficiency. The Supervisor is also considered the conduit of projects between the Business Unit counterparts and the team you handle. You will be the escalation point for project and performance issues in the team. The Supervisor is also responsible for providing the necessary coaching and training to ensure the success of the team. At the same time, you are expected to spend 30%25 of the time, depending on team size and projects, mostly working on critical projects, those that require a higher level of analysis and overseeing the expedition of urgent critical electronic parts to support timely production requirements. What will you do? People Management Function Team oversight – can assign tasks, primary contact, identify opportunities, promote services, day-to-day management of the team Personnel Development – Development of Subordinates, recruitment selection, appraisal, training coordination Productivity Improvements leader and an identifier for the group Ensure all team reports and analyses provided are accurate and delivered on time. This includes the daily deliverables such as CR monitoring, PO Governance status & Vendor Payment Status. Promote capabilities and services of Cavite Supply Chain, and support synergy activities within the organization Provides timely feedback on concerns or problems to Internal Customers Material Planning Function Establishes regular communication with customers for discussion of issues and resolution of problems; Coordinates with customers on amendments/changes as well as clarification on special instructions related to production and shipment of specific models (e.g., delivery schedule, specification changes, etc.) Ensures timely supply of materials to meet production demand according to production schedule through strict monitoring Lead Vendor Payment Reconciliation with Warehouse & Finance Performs inventory control and manages the E&O parts timely Performs regular capacity analysis with the supplier to avoid any long-term material storage Participates in meetings with related sections and departments for any New Product Development & Design Change Notice that may affect the production schedule performs daily production monitoring and monitors such plans according to order requirements Monitors all planner’s activities in effective communication with suppliers about purchased materials’ property/deliver plan/quality/budget Recommends disposition of slow or non-moving parts, materials Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities Who would be successful? Preferably graduate of Industrial Engineering or Business-related course In-depth knowledge of Material Management and Supply chain Minimum 8-10 years of experience and responsibility in Material Planning, preferably Imported Products Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role (handling people or projects). Supervisory experience or similar capacity Preferably with experience in working in an ISO-certified manufacturing company/Supply Chain Above average knowledge of Microsoft office applications Working knowledge in ERP systems preferably in Oracle; Experience with JDA software is a plus Well-developed analytical & problem-solving skills, innovative, assertive and confident Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordingly Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Has excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
