Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Distribution Center team. This role focuses on maintaining inventory balances, accuracy, and issue resolution upon receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods using WMS, SAP, and Exacta systems. Additionally, you will play an active role in supporting continuous improvement projects aimed at productivity and inventory accuracy. This position requires leadership in directing hourly employees in day-to-day work and project activities, particularly Inventory Technicians who handle product counting and transfers. Manage $10 million of finished goods inventory Oversee cycle counting program across a two-shift operation Maintain accurate inventory to uphold physical inventory exemption Drive continuous improvement in receipt, storage, and picking processes for finished goods Create visibility for in-transit inventory from interunit and external supply partners, enabling proactive planning with the DC operations team Own strategy for optimizing, monitoring, and auditing location accuracy Manage end-to-end inventory processes in the DC, collaborating with manufacturing sites and external supply partners Lead inventory accuracy initiatives tied to DC High-5 metrics through strategic projects and root cause analysis Work closely with the Bussmann Division SCM team to align inventory strategies with logistics, procurement, planning, and quality Develop standard work procedures for Inventory Technicians Provide backup support to the DC Operations team Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of inventory experience in a distribution center/manufacturing environment Minimum 1 year of experience supervising/leading people No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
