Job Description: JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified Inventory Lead Specialist to oversee inventory operations at the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), Cheatham Annex. This is a contingent hire, pending contract award. The incumbent will be responsible for the inventory of all material contained in all NMRLC warehouses and will ensure that all inventory personnel perform 100% inventory annually. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Experience in inventory operations including: Execution of inventory counts Reconciliation of findings Investigation/audit methods for inventory programs Material pre-adjustment and causative research methods Operation of various material handling equipment Required Knowledge: Overall warehousing storage management plan and accepted warehousing methods Inventory functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods Warehousing methods, procedures, material handling techniques Activities such as material receiving and material storage impacting inventory operations Programs utilized in providing material support Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Proficiency in DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support) or similar inventory management systems Familiarity with HIMS or other authorized database systems Required Skills and Certifications: Valid U.S. driver's license to drive up to a 1.5-ton stake bed truck Ability to operate 4-6K forklifts for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture Other Requirements: Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) Must be a U.S. citizen Ability to pass background investigation Must complete required DoD/BUMED IT security training Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of all material contained in all NMRLC warehouses Ensure all inventory personnel perform 100% inventory annually Responsible for all inventory requirements specified in DoD, U.S. Navy, and NMRLC instructions Execute inventory counts and reconcile findings Conduct investigation/audits for inventory programs Perform material pre-adjustment and causative research Warehouse Operations: Perform inventory and documentation of supply stock utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record Make adjustments to stock levels as directed Support excess or unserviceable material disposal processes Perform re-warehousing of material in accordance with Government stow plans Conduct location surveys and physical inventory Analyze, evaluate, and revise command inventory Quality Control & Documentation: Perform quality control on transaction records and file documents appropriately Research quality assurance messages utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record Coordinate affected products/recalls with affected work centers Review documents to ensure proper information has been included Obtain missing information and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies Material Handling: Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for inventory operations Count types, quantities, and condition of items during inventories Examine and identify materials Pack and repack items for kitting and shipping of EXMEDS Administrative Duties: Perform word processing, data entry, and electronic mail transmission Store, retrieve, and maintain electronic documents/files Enter data into predefined spreadsheets or databases Support monthly/annual reporting requirements Required Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and supervisory abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, and orders Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in standard office equipment operation Strong ethical principles and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Light to moderate physical effort required Walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items Lifting and carrying items over 45 lbs Work is performed on hard surfaces Security Clearance: Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
