Job Details Job Location: East Coast Distribution Center - WESTAMPTON, NJ 08060 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $16.50 - $18.75 Hourly Job Shift: 1st Shift Job Summary A level 1 Inventory Associate is responsible for the basic functions of monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels in an assigned area. Including but not limited to movements of materials, both physically and systematically, staging, and supplying materials for production teams. All Intelligent Foods employees are also required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food handling procedures, quality control, and all safety procedures and policies in our distribution centers. Essential Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory balances by executing proper storage, First Expired First Out (“FEFO”), movement, consumption, output, and counting processes. Complete accurate inventory count sheets and inventory adjustments Key appropriate inventory adjustments to add, modify, and/or consume inventory in the Navision ERP system (“NAV”) to ensure ongoing accuracy. Transact systematically in NAV with Radio Frequency Identification (“RFID”) scanner and/or Computer. Ensure that consumptions and outputs are accurate based on job card requirements and/or planning’s requirements (may vary based on material availability). Effectively communicate via email with the Supervisory and Management team. Understand food safety requirements (allergen control & cross contamination) and handle materials accordingly. Perform accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts as directed by the supervisor, and as scheduled to investigate and/or correct inventory discrepancies. Perform item set up procedures in a timely manner. Reconcile physical and system records for operations and procurement team. Perform location and product verification tasks as required. Monitor and react to issues with defective materials to ensure the proper actions are taken to prevent quality issues. Research in NAV on discrepancies or transactions and update Inventory adjustments after verifying discrepancies. Assist in inventory month end counts accurately and run cycle count programs. Manage and maintain inventory levels. Drive safety awareness such as ensuring formal risk assessments are conducted, hazards are closed, and incidents are investigated and communicated. Maintain a safe work environment by following, and enforcing standards, reporting any hazardous conditions to Supervisor/safety team members. Help implement and enforce new processes put in place by the management team. Must follow Intelligent Foods policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to maintain accurate inventory balances by executing proper storage (Organic, Conventional (Non-Organic), and Allergen), movement, output, and counting processes daily in an assigned area. Ability to accurately use the Radio Frequency Identification (“RFID”) scanner to update inventory inputs and outputs. Ability to follow the First Expired First Out (“FEFO”) and First In First Out (“FIFO”) system. Ability to perform and understand basic Inventory functions (example: how to read and understand lot tag, unit of measures, and understanding where to find expiration and lot dates). Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts as assigned. Perform item set up procedures in a timely manner for the assigned areas. Responsible for completing all assignments monthly including required training. Maintain a safe work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards (report any hazardous conditions to supervisor and/or safety team). Understand food safety requirements (allergen control & cross contamination) and handle materials accordingly. Must follow Intelligent Foods policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. At least 6 months experience in warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to read and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English. Experience with RFID scanner experience - preferred not required. Experience utilizing or basic understanding of lot tags and expiration dates. Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and record keeping. Ability to adapt to changes in priority and deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a variety of shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Ability to work independently and or in a group setting, with minimal supervision.
