Description:

Superior SANY Solutions, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in St-Laurent. The inventory management analyst manages inventory replenishment within multiple warehouses for assigned vendors with a goal of maximizing inventory investment while supporting service level expectations. You will maintain replenishment parameters and prepare replenishment forecasts, as well as prepare reports on vendor performance, and participate in special Supply Chain projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned inventory to maximize performance (from both a turn and service level perspective) and minimize obsolescence. Includes:
  • Replenishment planning: demand forecasting, lead time forecasting, order frequency analysis, service level analysis
  • Inventory performance review through data analysis using procurement data warehouses and other tools.
  • Analyzes inventory needs and place purchase orders accordingly for general and customer dedicated stock.
  • Generates Stock PO
  • Resolves PO and mill invoice discrepancies.
  • Expedites inbound stock from vendors.
  • Executes tactical buy-ins.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English & French). Employee needs to be able to communicate with the head office, outside vendors, and suppliers etc.
  • Entry level analytical skills with good problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform tasks autonomously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Strong planning, organization, and customer relations skills required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PC applications including Excel
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a buyer in a high volume, multi-location distribution environment
  • 4 year degree; logistics, management, business analysis or related degree preferred.
