Coulson Aviation is a global aerial firefighting company that supports Emergency Service efforts through the delivery of specialized aircraft and highly trained team members.
Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a growing fleet of aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our privately owned and operated fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, Hercules C130, Citation and King Air, CH47D Chinooks, and Sikorsky S-61 fire support platforms, we provide first class, rapid response delivery during critical events of wildfire activity.
Due to the company’s continued global expansion, we are looking to add a Inventory Manager to our team in Port Alberni, BC.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of inventory management or warehouse leadership experience, in aviation preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP/MRP), CORRIDOR being an asset.
  • Import/export, shipping, and customs experience for specialized parts.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of all parts and materials by managing regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits which ensure effective processes are in place.
  • Ensures all parts handling, storage, and documentation meet aviation regulations and internal quality assurance standards.
  • Manages warehouse operations, ensuring efficient organization and secure storage. Implements best practices in inventory tracking, shipping and receiving, and layout design to improve workflow.
  • Partners with department leads and/or managers to forecast and fulfill material needs for aircraft modification programs, including specialized tanks, avionics, and structural components. Ensures availability of critical items to prevent delays in modification schedules or operational readiness.
  • Works with the Purchasing Manager to track long-lead and high-value components for projects. Monitors supplier timelines to align inventory availability with project schedules and operational demand.
  • Provides regular reports on stock levels, usage trends, and project-based inventory consumption. Delivers data-driven insights to leadership to support planning.
  • Supervises and manages inventory staff, providing training and guidance. Builds a high-performing team focused on accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
