We're seeking production lab techs to join the 1st shift inventory team at our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. Base pay (entry level $15.50/hr) PLUS additional bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a generous PTO plan and many other benefits. 1st Shift Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm Job Description Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers. Inventory tasks include: Printing orders for job trays Removing lenses from manufacturer's box, placing on correct side of tray for production Observing data on job trays Order picking - pick lenses and frames RF scanning Pre-inspect lenses for visual imperfections Stocking, assisting with various department functions and performing other assigned duties Qualifications No specific education required No specific experience required but prior experience in warehouse or mass production operations, order picking or inventory preferred Prior optical production experience a plus Must be able to read and write English Additional Information National Vision offers a competitive benefits package.
