Description Aston Carter's client in Abbotsford is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support their aircraft maintenance operations by managing parts, inventory, and related documentation. This role is critical in ensuring smooth workflows for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and maintaining compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities Defect Management & Parts Sourcing - Review defect request forms and source required parts. - Organize parts on shelving by defect category for easy access by AMEs. ERP & Data Entry - Perform accurate data entry into the ERP system for inventory tracking. - Process return paperwork for unused parts in ERP. Coordination & Communication - Liaise daily with AMEs to confirm defect requests and part availability. - Support QA audits by ensuring all paperwork is complete and compliant. Workflow Support - Manage the flow of parts from stores to AMEs, ensuring timely handover. - Maintain organized shelving systems for high-volume defect corrections. MUST HAVE - 2+ years within parts coordinating roles (counter sales, parts coordinator) - ok if not aviation industry - Software: MS Office, ERP SOFT SKILLS - Self starter, can work independently - Collaborative, can work alongside multiple teams towards a common goal - Attention to detail - important for data entry, sourcing parts - Strong communication both written and verbal - Strong organizational skills - can organize parts in an efficient manner and prioritize numerous tasks based on urgency NICE TO HAVE - Aviation experience - Technical writing experience (maintenance manual references, IPC aka Illustrated Parts Catalogue) WORK ENVIRONMENT Shift? M-F, 7am-3:30pm 30m lunch, 2x15m coffees Parking? YES Transit? NO - vehicle recommended/preferred WFH? On site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Abbotsford, BC.
