Job Description The primary outcome of this role is to optimize inventory management to support sales growth. The Inventory Planning Analyst will be responsible for: Managing ERP system parameters to ensure correct product availability and optimize transactional efficiency. Collaborating with sales, operations, and factory teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and profiles. Overseeing product phase-outs and phase-ins to minimize negative impacts on customers and P&L. Conducting periodic reviews of inventory levels, addressing exceptions, and working with sales leadership to support growth targets. Managing vendor relationships, including performance reviews and addressing delivery or cost issues. Identifying and resolving issues related to distressed inventory (SMOD) and aged purchase orders. Developing strategies to optimize spend and vendor leverage through product or vendor consolidation. Key metrics for success include stockouts, aged purchase orders, weeks of supply, SMOD, and inventory turns. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Industrial Distribution; MBA preferred. Equivalent experience (5+ years) may be considered. Strong analytical and negotiation skills with ability to prioritize tasks supporting sales growth Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to interface effectively with sales, operations, and factory leadership Proficiency in data analysis and management, including experience with ERP systems (NxTrend/CSD/SAP preferred) Ability to handle uncertainty and adapt to changing conditions HVAC product portfolio knowledge and program/project management experience (desired) Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans *Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
