Job Summary The Inventory and Procurement Coordinator supports DISA’s operations by managing material purchasing, tracking, and storage. This role connects procurement, logistics, and inventory control to ensure materials are accurately ordered, received, and available for production needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in inventory systems and vendor coordination within an industrial environment. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic start-up environment, wearing multiple hats and contributing to many areas of business development. Education/ Experience High School diploma required. Formal education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred. 2–4 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or logistics—ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment. Forklift certification preferred. Supervisor Director of Supply Chain, unless otherwise designated. Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and inspect for accuracy and quality. Check in materials and parts into the Odoo ERP system. Match deliveries to purchase orders and report discrepancies. Organize, label, and store inventory in proper locations. Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with cycle counts. Communicate with Purchasing or Operations about inventory or delivery issues. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (forklift/pallet jack, etc.). Support process improvement initiatives related to receiving and inventory control. Oversee internal material movements to align with project tracking. Create and issue purchase orders for parts and supplies as needed. Track open POs and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. Abide by all policies and procedures established by DISA. Attend and participate in all required safety trainings. Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor. Required Skills Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Odoo (training available). Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects effectively. Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, vendors, and clients. Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects. Collaborate effectively as part of a team, supporting shared goals and fostering positive relationships. Adapt to dynamic environments and identify solutions to challenges with flexibility and problem-solving skills. Maintain professionalism with high attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and accuracy in all work deliverables. Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA/MSHA and company safety standards. Be a valid U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit and/ or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to interact with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
