Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Project Specialist for a contract position in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and maintaining inventory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a strong ability to handle clerical tasks, auditing, and inventory-related activities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Perform audits of inventory records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory processes, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  • Manage asset inventory by tracking and maintaining detailed records of equipment and materials.
  • Carry out clerical duties related to inventory management, including data entry and filing.
  • Support financial services-related inventory tasks, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance inventory workflows and optimize processes.
  • Generate reports on inventory metrics and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory systems to ensure they are functioning effectively and address any issues promptly.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth inventory operations.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or related clerical roles.
  • Familiarity with cycle counting and annual inventory processes.
  • Strong auditing skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of ADP financial services or similar systems.
  • Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Proficiency in asset inventory tracking and management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
