Impact Property Solutions is seeking an Inventory Purchasing Analyst. The Inventory Purchasing Analyst will play a key role in optimizing inventory performance by managing end-to-end purchasing activities, maintaining accurate product and pricing data, and ensuring product availability across designated locations. Inventory Purchasing Analyst will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and vendors to anticipate demand shifts, prevent stockouts, reduce aged inventory, and support strategic pricing and purchasing initiatives. Through proactive communication, issue resolution, analytical reporting, and consistent execution of standardized processes, the Inventory Purchasing Analyst will help drive operational efficiency, strengthen vendor relationships, and support the company’s growth across existing and new branches. Manage inventory to meet Impact Property Solutions strategies & sales objectives while maximizing performance on Availability, Freight Cost, Inventory Dollars, and Aged Dollars. Manage purchase orders through its entire lifecycle including communication of product ETA’s and delays to branches when needed. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify fluctuations in product demand that may lead to customer impacting stockouts or excess inventory and develop solutions to address these opportunities. Create and distribute routine inventory performance reports to relevant departments and lead discussions focused on identifying issues and driving improvements. Resolve order-related discrepancies including quantity, product, damage issues, and pricing variances in coordination with AP department. Manage stocking SKU purchases utilizing forecast analysis and responding to branch-specific needs. Handle all aspects of special orders and delivery tracking across locations. Support the implementation of pricing programs and vendor buying commitments. Assist in managing vendor relationships and maintaining consistent product and pricing data across assigned branches. Support the rollout of standardized “Impact” purchasing practices and reporting procedures for new or acquired locations. Assist in managing products and pricing for all vendors and locations. Performs other related duties as requested. Competencies Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and able to work with minimum supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive problem-solving ability. MS office (MS word and excel) and PC fluency. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional departments. Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors. Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Requirements Education and Work Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. 2 years’ experience in a purchasing /inventory management/warehouse/distribution environment required. 1 years’ experience with computerized inventory systems required. Flooring Industry knowledge is a plus. RFMS Systems Experience is a plus.
