Requirements The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring products are properly received, stored, and accounted for, and restocking the employee break room. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow directions. The Inventory Clerk works closely with the veterinary and operations teams, performing tasks in a calm, organized, and efficient manner to support the hospital's smooth operation and ensure high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Receive, restock, and process incoming inventory and supplies, ensuring all items comply with DEA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. This includes verifying shipment accuracy and proper storage of materials. Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently. Report any discrepancies or issues immediately to the Inventory Manager. Utilize the Kan Ban system to stock shelves in the inventory room and employee break rooms. Ensure all items are organized and easily accessible. Perform weekly shopping at Costco for hospital sundries, ensuring all necessary items are purchased. Maintain receipts and records of purchases for inventory tracking. Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This includes updating inventory systems with the latest data. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products, facilitating smooth operations. Communicate any delays or issues promptly to relevant teams. Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Regularly review and tidy the storage space to optimize efficiency. Update inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all data is current and correct.
