YOUR MISSION:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory and Receiving Clerk to be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of materials across receiving, inventory management, and production support. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely material availability, and supporting production readiness. Operating within a structured electronics manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of adhering to quality and traceability standards.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders for accuracy and quality
  • Record material receipts accurately into inventory systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, MyCentre
  • Perform and inventory adjustments and ensure correct application of general ledger (G/L) account numbers
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly cycle count reports and assist with inventory reconciliation
  • Utilize FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles for all inventory movements and storage
  • Maintain well organized, clearly labeled inventory storage areas
  • Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate digital records
  • Monitor and support QEMS (Quality & Environmental Management System) compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
  • Assemble and issue kitted materials to production based on current schedules
  • Fulfill material requisitions and KanBan requests across production areas
  • Create and distribute run tracking documentation packages for production kits/runs
  • Maintain up-to-date production tracking and kitting status reports
  • Collaboare with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Quality, Accounting, and Production
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory and material handling
  • Participate in internal audits and help maintain compliance with ISO and QEMS standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

THIS ROLE MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, finance, accounting, or electronics manufacturing is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, receiving, or warehouse support (electronics manufacturing is an asset).
  • Proficiency working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP, MyCentre) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of FIFO inventory systems, cycle count programs, and electronic components handling.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on foot for extended periods of time
  • Forklift operation or material handling equipment certification is an asset
