Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Research & Listing Specialist to troubleshoot and research items that are not found in our proprietary system. This role is responsible for identifying products using barcodes, online research, and other tools, then creating accurate listings for our e-commerce platforms. Key Responsibilities Research unidentified or missing items not found in the company system Scan and analyze barcodes, UPCs, and serial numbers Use online tools, manufacturer websites, and databases to identify products Verify product details such as brand, model, condition, and specifications Create accurate and complete product listings for online sale Upload product information, photos, and pricing to e-commerce platforms Ensure listings meet company quality and compliance standards Resolve discrepancies in inventory records Work closely with warehouse, fulfillment, and management teams Maintain organized documentation of research and findings Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred) Previous experience in inventory, e-commerce, or product listing preferred Strong research and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze barcodes, labels, and packaging Familiarity with online marketplaces and product databases Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory software, web research) High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals Preferred Skills Experience with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.) Knowledge of UPC/EAN databases and product catalogs Basic photography skills for product listings Understanding of pricing and market trends Work Environment Warehouse and office setting May require standing, lifting, and moving inventory Fast-paced, performance-driven environment Performance Metrics Accuracy of product identification Number of items successfully researched and listed Listing quality and compliance rate Turnaround time on unresolved inventory
