Description

Job Description: Computer literate, great customer service, tool knowledge preferred, and willing to work night shift. This position is responsible for the daily operations of on-site tool trailer. Duties include issuing tools to customers, inspecting returned tools, properly maintaining fleet levels within the operation and creating reporting mechanisms as needed.

REQUIRED SKILL:

Specify Education \ Certification \ Training : HS/GED
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a plant or industrial environment preferred

OTHER SKILLS:

  • Basic computer skills: Windows XP functions, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to professionally interact with customer base at site and maintain upmost customer service levels at all times
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Multi-tasking and organization skills

Responsibilities
  • Issue tools to customers and inspect returned tools from customers at onsite Tool room
  • Perform visual safety inspections of all tooling and maintain Chain Hoist Certification records
  • Maintain records of withdrawal and return of tools
  • Responsible for marking/entering tools in Total Control system
  • Assists in mobilization and setup of the trailer at the customer?s site
  • Maintain a clean and presentable trailer
  • Perform basic tool repair and troubleshooting
  • Acts as the primary contact for all customers on-site.
  • Accountable for all Tool Trailer operations and provide guidance of supply to management.
  • Manage onsite Tool Trailer inventory; order or replace tools as needed
  • Utilizing the TCR system, perform tasks including loading data, exporting data and generating reports as needed
