OUR COMPANY

Qualified Production and Development provides custom machining and manufacturing services, serving the semi-conductor, life science and other industries. We have 2 facility locations, both located in Oregon. Our Hillsboro location provides contract manufacturing services for machining, assembly with cleanroom capabilities and prototyping, allowing us to take a product from the prototype through production. Our Cornelius facility provides precision sheet metal manufacturing, rounding out our ability to provide best in class integration services to our customer base.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on shipping, receiving and inventory.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP/MRP system.
  • Strong working knowledge of export compliance and ITAR compliance in relation to inventory control.
  • Experience using MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • General math knowledge including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers and decimals accurately.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks on time, in a fast paced, on time environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently follow instructions and processes.
  • Ability to effectively assess a variety of variables in a unclear or nonstandard situations and make practical decisions with good judgment.
  • Flexible with the ability to learn and change as needed.
  • Ability to communicate and interact professional and effectively at all levels of the company, customers or vendors.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • A valid driver’s license, current insurance and ability to drive occasionally.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize, optimize and document warehouse management best practices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform cycle counts.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes and procedures followed.
  • Stage materials within designated areas.
  • Track and perform root cause analysis on inventory adjustments.
  • Receive, store, load, unload, pack, saw, and ship raw and finished materials and product according to specified procedures.
  • Monitor packaging supplies and order as needed.
  • Operate machinery such as forklift and/or pallet jack.
  • Communicate, respond and coordinate jobs/materials between QPD sites.
  • Occasional driving between QPD Hillsboro and Cornelius facilities.
  • Focus on quality product.
  • Maintain safe working practices.
  • Follow all safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
