SUMMARY  An Inventory Specialist is responsible for the handling of Food & Beverage product upon deliveries. During racing, an Inventory Specialist will be expected to assist in receiving product and transporting those products to various concession stands & dining rooms. This position will fill order requests for multiple locations to ensure that each area has enough product for daily operations.      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   * Receive/unload Food & Beverage items from delivery trucks. * Transport Food & Beverage items to assigned locations. * Assist in the Main Kitchen, as needed.    QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   * Previous experience in receiving/unloading Food & Beverage products from delivery trucks is a plus. * Available to work a schedule based upon business needs including weekends during live race meets in April and October. * Ability to communicate effectively with other employees. * Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.  * Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate. * Ability to lift 50+ pounds.  * Ability to work in hot and cold environments. * Must have good strength, mobility, and agility to perform the job effectively. * Strong team player.    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  High school education; one or more years’ related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Analytical skills for issue resolving.
