Description SUMMARY: The Receiving Specialist is responsible for handling all products that come into our manufacturing facility. Working with the Shipping + Receiving Manager, this position is key to ensure all client’s orders are taken care of from the moment we have them on-hand. The job is very fast-paced and challenging, but this individual is good at finding solutions to meet the needs of our clients, and is self-motivated to achieve their best performance. JOB RESPONSIBILIES: Receive, PO match, tag and distribute products delivered daily Scanning and invoicing orders Keeping accurate inventory counts Ensure all orders ship out on time, accurately, and with optimum quality Understand principles of shipping, receiving, stock pulling, order fulfillment, and quality control Follow standard processes set for each task Manage time efficiently while maintaining a high attention to detail Meet goals for each process related to receiving Works with management professionally to maintain quality and efficiency Ensures that all waste is reported accurately and disposed of properly Communicates with management, various departments, and team members to satisfy customer needs BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION: $14.50/hour +$2 shift differential Immediate PTO accrual Paid holidays 2 paid experience days Medical insurance Free telehealth Free accident Insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Free life insurance 401(k) with up to 4% employer match Requirements Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States Must perform Pre-Employment drug test JOB SKILLS & REQUIRMENTS: Excellent communication skills Standard knowledge of computers and iPads Optimum attention to detail and Ability to lift 40 pounds Ability to function in a standing position for 6-8 hours a day Logistics or supply chain background preferred Receiving or inventory control preferred UPS, FedEx, or USPS experience preferred Starship, Wordship or other shipping platforms preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred *special consideration for manager experience THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Receiving Manager SCHEDULE: Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm-2:00am (Full-time) WORK SPACE INFO: This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements. TRAINING: Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required. SAFETY: Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment. Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested. In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.
