Description Inventory Specialist – Tampa Operations SUMMARY The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role ensuring our ultrasound parts, probes, and system inventory is accurate, properly controlled, properly packed/labeled, and stored in the correct location while assisting in other material handling duties. The primary functions include the inventory put away process (locating to shelves/floor locations), order picking, as well as performing periodic inventory cycle counts and checks. In addition, the Inventory Specialist may be asked to transport certain materials within the facility depending on the workflow and perform quality checks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs secondary quality checks on repaired/tested parts Assists in system testing validation when needed Keeps area organized and clean 100% ESD compliance when handling exposed circuitry items Follows and adheres to all Probo Medical and OSHA safety policies and regulations Responsible for Finished Goods parts put away and WIP transport Responsible for accurate and timely order picking Performs physical inventory cycle counts periodically and on demand Assists in part photo taking, packaging, and proper labeling Responsible for shipping and receiving (parcel and freight) Organize and assist in maintaining all materials and supplies Performs after hours shipping coverage as needed Requirements REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION High School Diploma/GED 2-3 years in a warehouse/inventory management environment Basic computer skills and attention to detail Inventory and project management Cross-functional participation Desire to learn Creative problem solving Sense of urgency Attention to detail Logical thinking Resourcefulness Team player PREFERED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Experience with Salesforce a plus Experience with medical equipment/parts a plus Experience in ISO certification(s) a plus ESD training a plus WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
