INVENTORY SPECIALIST

The Inventory Specialist plays an important role in the warehouse and logistics departments. The Inventory Specialist works in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and is responsible for monitoring shipping and receiving activities in the department, as well as leading the company’s Cycle count program and occasionally operating heavy equipment.

· Keep track of raw materials, equipment, shipments, incoming deliveries, and stock
· Digitally manage inventory and create inventory reports
· Prevent shortages of supply or manage unexpected shortages
· Negotiate prices with suppliers
· Order materials as needed
· Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital data
· Review incoming and outgoing orders
· Create, update, and maintain supplier purchasing files that are complete with pricing information
