Job Description: Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $18.25 per hour (potential for .50 increase after successful 90-day probationary period) Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Friday Work Location: On-site Summary: The Inventory Specialist will support a major telecommunications client by managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for telecom equipment, devices, and materials. This is a strictly office-based role focused on data accuracy, documentation, system updates, and coordination with cross-functional teams across the BPO and the client organization. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and compliance are critical. Duties Include: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using client-approved systems and database tools. Track item movements, returns, and replenishment requests from warehouses, field teams, and logistics partners. Validate and reconcile inventory reports, identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolution with relevant teams. Generate scheduled and ad hoc inventory reports for internal stakeholders and the client. Support forecasting of inventory needs based on usage patterns, project requirements, and historical data. Collaborate with warehouse contacts, field technicians, procurement teams, and client representatives to ensure timely updates on stock status. Maintain documentation and audit trails for all transactions in compliance with client policies and BPO standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing inventory processes and accuracy. Assist in preparing data for audits, operational reviews, and performance reporting. Requirements Soft Skills: Ability to convey information accurately and efficiently to both internal team members and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing Adaptive to changing situations in a competitive market Genuine interest in people and a desire to help and build relationships with customers Comfort navigating change in a dynamic environment with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset. Required Qualifications: Experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or related administrative roles—preferably in telecommunications or a BPO environment. Proficiency with inventory management tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent). Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail. Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working with large datasets. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work onsite in an office environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with telecommunications products or asset-tracking processes. Experience working with ticketing systems or workflow management tools. Background in reporting, data validation, or quality assurance.
