Description POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments involving verifying and recording merchandise or material as well as transporting said goods to the appropriate inventory location in the warehouse and verifying the quantity stored. This individual is also responsible for verifying and updating inventory discrepancies as they arise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the warehouse and inventory systems through proper quality control and cycle counts to ensure total compliance of materials with the physical location and documented count. Responsible for ensuring a smooth transition pre-shift and post-shift production with inventory being brought to the line by warehouse associates and put away the same. This individual will be responsible for handing over / receiving a change in the position, getting to know the status of tasks (performed and to be performed). Monitor system releases of components in warehouse and production processes(BOM's) This individual will assist with all scheduled or ad hoc cycle counts and inventories and will investigate any discrepancies to root cause and determine a method to ensure a better process. Work with employees involved in the warehouse and production process; aimed at eliminating the inconsistencies between the physical and system. Data preparation for reporting purposes. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. Perform system corrections in the Inventory Management System in accordance with applicable procedures. Weighing, estimating, counting, unused production material. Updating inventory systems and relabeling material Comply with OSHA safety requirements, ensure all PPE & GMP policies followed and maintain a safe work environment. Other duties as assigned Requirements EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Lean Certification, preferred but not required SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures Ability to pay close attention to detail Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job Skill in multitasking and time management Ability to effectively manage personnel of varying skills and disciplinary backgrounds Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers Must be able to reach, touch, grasp Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products. Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 0-25% - Travel may be required to support business needs
