Job Summary: We hope you are knowledgeable in late model car, truck, and van parts, and able to identify these parts. The focus of this position is to inventory the entire vehicle upon it's arrival from auction. You will make sure the new inventory coming in on vehicles can be inspected and stocked for sale. Other car parts may be marked damaged. You will document the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and select a location in our salvage yard to house the car as well as take pictures of the car parts. By doing to, you will help provide the best customer experience in the recycled part industry. This is a job that requires candidates to be on their feet for 8 hours per day and requires indoor and outdoor work conditions. Ability to read part numbers, VINs, and serial numbers · Fork lift experience a plus. · Shift M-F either 7:30am-4:30pm with one hour lunch; Overtime possible Hourly wage will be based on applicants experience and knowledge. Onsite training in methods and procedures, safety and company policies will be provided upon hiring.
Responsibilities
The primary focus of this role is to inventory entire vehicles upon arrival from auction, ensuring new inventory is inspected and stocked for sale, while also marking any damaged car parts. Responsibilities include documenting the VIN, selecting a storage location in the salvage yard, and taking pictures of the car parts.
