Description

We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Technician roles for our client site in Dun Laoghaire.
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and has good customer service skills to join our team. Full training will be given. Previous experience in a similar role an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with ISC stores processes to ensure compliance with Amgen requirements
  • Proactively work with Stores network to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Inspect and Receipt of Incoming goods, handling of non-conforming product
  • Conduct Inter Stores Transfers to improve Stock Turn and aged stock profile.
  • Manage Reservations/kitting of spares for all Planned maintenance work for Craft teams
  • Ensure Engineering Spares SAP Material Masters are maintain to standards (Naming conventions; Bill of Materials; no duplicate parts across Storage locations, min/max level optimisation; aged stock reviews; criticality)
  • To minimise the risk of “Stock Outs” through detailed analysis and purchase order tracking.
  • To carry out routine analysis of stock movements
  • ABC Analysis.
  • Cycle Count Analysis
  • Competitive Pricing analysis.
  • Supplier Lead time analysis.
  • To record information relating to the procurement and management of materials.
  • To demonstrate flexibility in terms of attitude and work practices.
  • To apply continuous improvement skills to drive site performance in terms of customer service and quality towards best in class standards.
  • To be aware of key performance indicators and act to ensure that they are achieved
  • To demonstrate a strong commitment to personal & team development.
  • To support other team members and develop positive relationships with colleagues, including contract personnel
  • To use skills to drive site towards world class plant materials management standards.
  • Pro-actively pursue & adopt a safe and professional approach to all aspects of individual & team based activity.
  • Take a proactive role in Projects.
  • To manage procurement of materials and services & appropriation of stores items. (This will require the individual to e proficient in and fully utilise the SAP)
  • Work with Maintenance teams on repair program management
  • Work in partnership with external Procurement resource/Integrator to achieve savings and cost avoidance targets (reverse engineering; consignment stock; consumables vendor managed inventory; decoupling spares from service contractors)
  • Maintain high levels of 5S in stores to support achievement of H&S, Environmental standards, and efficient store layout and materials movements
  • Ensure Visual Management boards are up to date with key agreed Stores performance measures
  • Support standardisation of spares components linked to Capital Expenditure projects
