Its mission is to administer and enforce the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, including the operations of the Do Not Call Registry. The PDPC formulates and implements policies relating to the protection of personal data. It also reviews actions of organisations on areas of personal data protection rules and issues enforcement decisions as well as directions for compliance.
What the role is:
You can look forward to a challenging career which involves investigations into complaints/reports of Personal Data Protection / Do Not Call breaches and abuse. As part of your responsibilities, you will conduct investigations, inspections, technical and forensic examinations, and assessments of an organisation’s personal data protection practices. You are required to liaise with organisations such as audit firms, financial institutions, telecommunication operators, law firms, as well as government and quasi-government agencies to ensure that the personal data of consumers in Singapore remains protected.
If you have what it takes to build Singapore’s digital future with us, we are looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager for the role of Investigation Officer!
