Job Summary: The Investigations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the investigations team, ensuring thorough, timely, and compliant handling of cases. This role combines hands-on investigative work with leadership duties, including supervising staff, improving processes, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity. Duties and Responsibilities · Lead, mentor, and support a team of investigators, including training and performance management Oversee case assignments and ensure timely and accurate completion of investigations Conduct complex or high-priority investigations as needed Review investigative reports for quality, consistency, and compliance Develop and implement investigation procedures and best practices Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational guidelines Collaborate with internal departments and external partners as needed Track and analyze investigation metrics to improve team performance Handle escalated issues and provide resolution guidance Assist in audits, reporting, and risk mitigation efforts Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent education required 3–5+ years of investigative experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of investigative techniques, compliance standards, and documentation practices Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively Experience with case management or investigation software preferred Skills and Abilities Leadership and team development Attention to detail and accuracy Ethical judgment and integrity Decision-making and accountability Time management and organization Collaboration and communication Compensation and Benefits $28 an hour Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance included Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Retirement plan options
