Business Overview Our Operations, Data & Technology team collaborates across the business with a strong emphasis on designing solutions, increasing efficiency and reducing operational risks. The team consists of several areas of specialisation including: * Transaction Management & Support * Investment Operations & Client Service * Investment Risk & Execution Oversight * Business Transformation * Investment Accounting & Tax Services * Implementation * Information Technology The Role This diverse and hands on role will assist with managing the investment accounting for IFM products and investments as directed by the Director, Associate Director or Manager, Investment Accounting. Other responsibilities include: * Prepare timely and accurate Net Asset Values and Unit Prices. * Record transactions in fund accounting systems. * Perform cash and position reconciliations where required. * Preparation and review of information for investors. * Preparation of financial statements and reconciliations. * Assist with statutory reporting for compliance. * Assist with tax reporting and payments. * Assist with take on and transition of additional investment accounting functions. * Adhoc reporting for operations and front office stakeholders. * Support the Investment Accounting and Operations team in various initiatives including trade and transaction settlements and reconciliations. * Assist with new product development for IFM, as directed by the Manager, Associate Director or Director, Investment Accounting. Your Background And Experience * Ideally circa 5 years relevant experience in investment accounting or fund accounting * Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field * May have post-graduate qualifications * CPA or CA qualifications or be studying towards it * Detailed market knowledge * Client relationship management * Business acumen, financial metrics and key performance drivers * Strong financial knowledge * High level numerical skills required Ready to invest in what matters?
