Description

Overview:
We are looking for an Investment Accountant with insurance experience for our prestigious asset management client. This contract role will run for approximately 7 months on a remote basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in both month-end and quarter-end close processes, contributing to the timely and accurate finalization of financial statements
  • Conduct quality control (QC) checks on financial data, identifying and rectifying errors to maintain data integrity and reliability
  • Preparation of month-end accrual checks, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and streamline the closing procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Insurance industry professional experience required
  • Prior Investment accounting experience required
  • Ability to operate within established accounting and reporting guidelines
  • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
