ABOUT YOU

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

• A team player with the ability to use own initiative.
• A passion for investing.
• A positive attitude, flexible outlook and a high level of initiative and enthusiasm.
• A strong commitment to personal development.
• Degree or Masters level in business related discipline.
• 1-3 years post graduate experience in Stockbroking, Investment Management or Accountancy.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Demonstrable interest and understanding of investments and financial markets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; verbal and written.
• High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent information technology capability, including a high level of competence in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willing to complete the QFA and CFA examinations.
• An ability to prioritise own workload.

A position has arisen for an Investment Analyst (Equities) to join the Investment Team within Private Clients. In the role, the successful candidate will:

• Updating and maintaining all marketing documentation for the direct equity offering.
• Developing extensive knowledge of the companies in our global equity universe, by monitoring market developments, analysing data and interpreting market trends.
• Analysing and formulating investment ideas for inclusion in the direct equity offering.
• Communicating portfolio updates, relevant news, information and investment views with Portfolio managers and directly with clients.
• Managing Portfolio Manager/Client queries in a timely manner.
• Participating with the Investment Team to formulate investment views for the Private Client Department.
