Position Summary:
Reporting to the Academic Director of the Honors in Investment Management (HIM) Program, the Investment Analyst will have oversight of the Van Berkom Small Cap (VBSC) Fund.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the oversight of the VBSC Fund.
• Participate in the proposal of investment recommendations for the Fund.
• Manage the implementation and transition of assets in the Fund.
• Keep track of the Fund’s Net Asset Value and ensure that it reconciles with the values provided by the custodian.
• Ensure that the fund is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the risk of the Fund.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Expert knowledge in the area of Finance. Strong demonstrated knowledge of markets, investments and small cap investing (i.e. tactical and strategic asset allocation, rebalancing of investments, etc.). Ability to disseminate information and communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work in a computerized environment. Heightened accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to draft, proofread and edit texts, documents or reports. Ability to transmit and receive information accurately at all levels. English and French, spoken, written and read.
