POSITION DESCRIPTION

General Atlantic is looking to hire an entrepreneurial-spirited Analyst to support the Southeast Asia Investment team.
This role will have exposure to all parts of the investment process, from sourcing investment opportunities, to conducting initial diligence and presenting to the Investment Committee, as well as supporting the value creation initiatives in GA’s portfolio, playing an important role in the firm’s growth and success.

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience strongly preferred (e.g. Investment Banking and Private Equity preferred. Consulting or Operations in addition to Investment Banking will also be considered.)
• Verbal and written fluency in English; one additional Southeast Asian advantageous, but not required
• Passionate about discovering interesting transformational up-and-coming high-growth companies
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Superior financial modeling skills (ability to create and manipulate complex financial models with minimum guidance)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong analytical abilities, creativity, thoughtful business judgment and professional maturity
• Record of outstanding professional and academic achievement
• Desire to collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm globally
