Responsibilities

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Investment and Transactions Associate to support my client’s investment operations and financial activities. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, commercial and merchant banks, and the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in global markets, particularly the U.S. and emerging economies, and a strong foundation in long-term investing principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with merchant banks and investment professionals to source and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly investment committee meetings with company’ shareholders to support strategic asset allocation decisions.
  • Work closely with internal finance and accounts teams to ensure proper booking, accounting, and reconciliation of investment and trade finance transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and support documentation for new investments and financial instruments.
  • Use various tools to generate portfolio risk reports and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor financial markets and maintain internal dashboards and reports on investment performance and risk metrics.
  • Consolidate data across multiple investment accounts into a unified portfolio reporting system.
  • Liaise with commercial banks to support ongoing financial operations and facilitate the expansion of the company’s banking relationships.
  • Assist in preparing investment proposals, board papers, and quarterly performance updates for shareholders.Setting up liaising with various law firms or corporate service providers to set up with establishment of various structures.
