APPRENTICE INVESTMENT ASSISTANT

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with within the Neighbourhood Service, as an Investment Assistant.
Our Investment Assistants are an important part of our service, and we currently have an apprentice position available based at our office in Attercliffe.

This is an opportunity to join a front-line service with scope to influence and improve the service we provide the customers of Sheffield. You will be working within a team of experienced, supportive, and motivated staff.
You will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality service which supports customers to help them sustain their tenancies. We are looking for applicants with a positive approach, can do attitude and can provide a high quality, continually improving and customer driven service. Housing knowledge is not essential, we will work with successful applicants to ensure they are trained and coached to gain the knowledge needed. We also offer great career progression opportunities for all our staff.
The post will involve multi agency working with other teams within the Council or other agencies to provide the best possible support to our customers.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
