We’re looking for a skilled Investment Associate to support fund selection, direct investments, M&A activities, and portfolio performance tracking. If you have a strong background in private equity, venture capital, or M&A, and possess analytical expertise, this role is an excellent opportunity to grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Fund Selection & Manager Due Diligence Conduct research, screening, and due diligence on private market fund managers across various strategies (Buyout, Growth, Venture, Credit, and Infrastructure). Assist in developing investment memos and presentations for Investment Committee (IC) approval. Analyze fund track records, investment strategies, portfolio construction, and key value drivers. Engage with General Partners (GPs), industry experts, and network contacts to assess manager capabilities and reputation. Support negotiations of fund terms, fee structures, and side-letter agreements with fund managers. Direct Investments & Co-Investments Evaluate direct investment and co-investment opportunities with fund managers and investment partners. Assist in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments for direct investments. Support due diligence processes, including commercial, financial, and operational analysis. Work with internal and external advisors to structure deals and prepare investment proposals. M&A and Ad-Hoc Investment Projects Participate in M&A due diligence and strategic investment evaluations. Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and valuation benchmarks. Contribute to investment structuring, deal execution, and transaction negotiations. Portfolio Monitoring & Performance Tracking Help monitor and analyze the performance of existing fund investments and direct investments. Assist in maintaining investment dashboards, tracking NAV changes, distributions, and IRR performance. Participate in regular review meetings with GPs and investment partners to assess fund performance. Identify risks and key trends to optimize portfolio decision-making. Relationship Management & Market Intelligence Build and maintain relationships with GPs, co-investors, industry experts, and service providers. Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and new investment opportunities. Represent the firm at investment conferences, GP meetings, and networking events. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or MBA (Finance). Experience: 5-7 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, asset management, investment banking, or a related field. Certifications: CAIA/CFA preferred. Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an added advantage. Software: Proficient in MS Office; experience with investment software (e.g., Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg) is a plus.
