Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC Dominion Securities is currently seeking an Investment Associate to join a large portfolio management team specialized in providing wealth management services to a sophisticated clientele. You will provide dedicated support to the portfolio management team on investment and money management activities. What will you do? Execute trades and rebalance portfolios. Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery. Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary. Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.). Assist the advisory team with client onboarding. Help manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners. Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accounts. Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) Post-secondary degree in finance or a related area of study Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience within the investment industry Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Nice-to-have Passion for investments, analysis, and portfolio management Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills What’s in it for you?
