Hybrid role with 2 days remote per week
As an Investment Banking Senior Controller, you will be working for one of the most prestigious investment banks in the world. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of the bank’s financial records, focusing on data integrity, general ledger reconciliation, and insightful analysis of Investment Banking Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reporting. Collaborating with various departments such as Trading, Risk Management, and Operations, you will play a critical role in managing daily financial processes and driving system improvements in a supportive and collaborative environment.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: MANAGE DAILY P&L AND BALANCE SHEET PROCESSES FOR DEBT CAPITAL MARKETS, EQUITY CAPITAL MARKETS, AND MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS, PROVIDING ANALYTICAL INSIGHTS ON FINANCIAL DRIVERS

• Lead strategic system implementation projects to enhance the organization’s Banking Control infrastructure
• Support standardization initiatives and implement process improvement and automation ideas
• Conduct complex financial analyses using advanced data analysis tools and methodologies
• Resolve issues independently with a high level of attention to detail and escalate recurring problems for enhancements
• Collaborate across teams to maintain a positive, results-driven work environment
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies while safeguarding the organization’s reputation and assets

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or a similar field
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with KNIME, Tableau, or VBA is an advantage (training will be provided)
• A professional certification such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA (preferred but not required)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial data to senior management
• A solid understanding of investment banking products, markets, and economic factors
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
