POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently partnered with a premier Middle-Market Investment Bank based out of Tampa, Florida looking to add a senior member to their team. As a Vice President in Investment Banking, you will play a critical leadership role in managing client relationships, executing complex financial transactions, and mentoring junior team members. Based in Tampa, you will contribute to the growth of the firm’s regional presence while working on high-impact deals across M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Investment Banking.
  • M&A experience in the Technology, Software or Tech-Enabled Services sectors.
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of M&A transactions, debt and equity financings, and other strategic advisory engagements.
  • Manage day-to-day deal processes including financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and client communications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to originate new business opportunities and pitch advisory services.
  • Supervise and mentor Associates and Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
  • Prepare and present client materials including pitch books, management presentations, and board materials.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting investment banking.
