Employment Type- Full-time, 1st Shift Responsibilities Include Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of foundry equipment, including: Wax injection presses Shell building robots and conveyors Burnout and preheat furnaces Induction melting and pouring systems Blasting, grinding, and cutoff equipment Reduce downtime by conducting preventive maintenance (PM) Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using blueprints, schematics, and other diagnostic tools Maintain and repair HVAC, compressed air, and water systems as needed Document all maintenance activities Requirements High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a foundry/metalworking/or manufacturing environment Proficiency in English for clear communication within the team Strong knowledge of: Mechanical systems (motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes) Electrical systems (motors, relays, sensors, PLCs) Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding and fabrication skills a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Familiarity with lockout/tagout, confined space, and other safety procedures Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as needed to support production
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Tech will perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of foundry equipment. They will also reduce downtime by conducting preventive maintenance and document all maintenance activities.
