As an Investment Communications Specialist within Julius Baer’s Chief Investment Office, your primary role is to create investment-related publications for clients as well as internal stakeholders. This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities ranging from financial content creation to promotional communications with exposure to different stakeholders within the organisation. The main responsibilities are the monthly creation of client-facing investment aftersales reports as well as supporting with the creation of cohesive, client-friendly, investment product pitch materials. YOUR CHALLENGE Investment Content Development: Write high-quality investment-related materials, including monthly discretionary mandate and fund aftersales reports for direct client distribution as well as internal stakeholders Content & Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of aftersales collateral management and production, ensuring timely delivery and strict adherence to deadlines. Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management and cross-functional stakeholders across the Bank Product Pitch Deck Creation: Play an active role in supporting the creation of compelling product pitch decks; defining cohesive storylines and content in collaboration with product specialists while adhering to the Bank’s corporate language guidelines, tone of voice, and brand standards Promotional Communications: Contribute to the development of marketing communications output including campaigns, intranet articles, website content, advertorials and webcast scripts to enhance client engagement and brand visibility Strategic Representation: Serve as a trusted sparring partner, consistently reflecting the CIO Office’s perspective while maintaining its distinctive tone of voice across all content and channels YOUR PROFILE Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial communications or investor relations, preferably within banking or broader financial services Exceptional command of written and spoken English (ideally native speaker) with proven track record in financial content development, and editorial work; experience in investment writing is desirable; proficiency in German is considered an asset Comprehensive understanding of and genuine interest in finance-related topics, markets, and financial instruments Team player who thrives in an international environment with a demonstrated ability of project and stakeholder management Self-driven professional with a proactive mindset; capable of taking full ownership of tasks and processes; comfortable to shape and drive projects forward, think outside of the box, and challenge the status quo Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; familiarity with Bloomberg or comparable tools is advantageous University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Financial Journalism, Banking & Finance, or similar We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
